GPS coordinates of some popular tourist destinations (which have no clear addresses)

I recently went on a trip to Las Vegas where we decided to go outside the city for a couple of days. I had heard of beautiful places like Lower Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend, so wanted to drive and explore these places. We had a lot of trouble finding these places due to lack of GPS friendly street addresses so now that we did find them, I thought it would be useful to post the GPS coordinates of these locations so as to make it easier for others to find them. Here goes the list (you may contribute too and I will keep updating it):

  1. Lower Antelope Canyon: N 36° 54.153' W 111°24.644'
  2. Horseshoe Bend: N 36° 52.598' W 111°30.179'

    The address given above takes you to the wrong place. Exact address is something different to this as per Garmin GPS system.

    Hi Vivek,

    I am applying for passport renewal at SFO. I need your help on the address proof notarizing. I only have my apartment lease document as an address proof which contain 19 pages.
    I) Do I get notarized all the pages of it or only the front page notorization will be okay?
    ii) do I attach my photograph on it while notorization?

How to apply for a Schengen visa in the US

I recently applied for a Schengen visa (Greece embassy, Chicago) and wanted to share the experience with answers to some questions I could not find online. Here is the process: Book an appointment!! - This should be the first thing you should do as you might have to wait for a month to get the next available appointment. Everything else could be prepared in the meanwhile you're waiting for your date so book the appointment first! For Greece embassy Chicago, you'd have to call and take an appointment. They (the visa department) are only available between 2 pm to 4 pm on weekdays. How to put other country maps (India in my case) for FREE on a Garmin nuvi 40LM GPS that was purchased in USA

I purchased a Garmin nuvi 40LM GPS in the United States. It worked beautifully well - so well that I did not want to part with it when I was moving back to India. But the challenge was not how to put Indian maps on it (that you could purchase online any day) - but the challenge was to put them for FREE!
